Convergence Joins ESRI's Business Partner Program

St. Louis, MO - Convergence Communications announces that it has joined ESRI's Business Partner Program. Convergence and ESRI are working together to provide an integrated solution for organizations with homeland security, public safety, emergency management, public health or corporate security missions.

The solution will combine ESRI's ArcWeb Services and ArcIMS technologies with Convergence's E-Sponder(SM) solution, a real-time communications and collaboration portal.

Beginning in October of 2005, E-Sponder will incorporate an ESRI GIS-based viewer into its offering. As new information is entered or updated in E-Sponder, this information will be immediately available in the GIS viewer. This viewer is configurable to create specific profiles for specific classes of users and information products.

The ESRI Business Partner Program is a network of more than 1,700 domestic and international developers, consultants, data providers, and value-added resellers who, utilizing ESRI technology, provide solutions to meet the geographic information system (GIS) needs of every industry. Working together, ERSI and its business partners solve business problems with new software applications, data, and value-added services.

"Creating a seamless integration with both ArcWeb and ArcIMS adds critical GIS functionality to E-Sponder. The ability to quickly and easily map information is crucial in many situations. E-Sponder's ease of use and ESRI's powerful capabilities create an unmatched offering for our customers," says Robert Wolf, CEO/President, Convergence Communications.
