Timothy Daniel, President of Government Services-Convergence Communications, Selected to Speak at Fire Service Technology Symposium

ST. LOUIS -- December 2, 2005 -- Timothy Daniel, President of Government Services for Convergence Communications has been selected to speak at the Microsoft Sponsored Fire Service Technology Symposium in Redmond, Washington December 6-7, 2005.

Mr. Daniel will be speaking on Tuesday, December 6th at 3:30 - 4:15 pm. The title for the session is "IT for Command and Control: State of the Art Solutions." In his speech, Daniel will discuss situational awareness and the common operational picture that are must-halves in today's complex public safety environment. This session will also look at state of the art solutions for command centers and on-scene command and control.

This symposium co-hosted by the International Association of Fire Chiefs and Microsoft is designed to provide a forum for attendees to network and exchange best practices as well as evaluate new technologies to see how they can be incorporated into their city/counties. Themes include 21 Century Fire and EMS Departments, Technology for Fire Safety and Fire Service Roles in Homeland Security. Over 350 fire service and technology leaders will be attending the event.
