Robert Wolf

As a founder, President and CEO of Convergence, Robert Wolf has successfully led Convergence from its startup to a successful small company. Under his leadership, Convergence created a cutting-edge, innovative and highly relevant software solution in its flagship offering, E-SponderSM.  Under severe time constraints in each instance, led the Convergence team to deploy and successfully operate E-Sponder where it made its debut contributing to the protection of the President of the United States via E-Sponder’s command and control capabilities. He then led his team in deploying E-Sponder for the St. Louis based games of the 2004 Major League Baseball World Series, and the 2005 Super Bowl. In recognition of the superb performance of his company Convergence Communications was named as the 2005 Microsoft Partner of the Year in its Information Worker category.
Rob began his career in technology as a technical sales engineer designing networks within the small and medium sized business space. Over the next 12 years he worked in various roles at SBC including leadership roles at both SBC Telecom and Cingular Wireless. Mr. Wolf left SBC to build Convergence Communications. Prior to creating Convergence Robert helped build the strategic sales organization of Cingular Wireless, a newly formed wireless venture between SBC and BellSouth. Prior to Cingular Rob was responsible for SBC Telecom’s competitive telephone operations in Central Florida managing operations in five cities and assisting in building and creating a national order processing center.
